if you are worried about top counterpart.... like vein, russian, kenen, kalista...

you can deal with it by practicing Nasus or Olaf.

They are closed range warriors but have 1 long-range & powerfull skill. ( Nasus - E, Olfa - Q )

they are not the best choice at bruizer fighting, but we can ignore the risk of confronting long range dealers.

Always check your map if you have TP. Tp when there's gonna be a team fight on bot side so that you can help your team. I always check my map whenever I hear a ping or literally every 10 seconds

Always go for a trade when you can, ward the tri bush or the river one depending on your side. If your team is losing don't waste your tp on them unless they are fighting for an objective

I would recommend watching high elo one tricks of the champion you wanna learn on twitch or something similar, I learnt alot about evelyn watching malice.
