I’m planning on getting a new phone by the end of the year since my current one is starting to act up. I currently use the iPhone 11 Pro Max and I was wonder if I should continue using apple products of should I switch to the Samsung galaxy s20 or some other android models if u can recommend me some.

They're both really good. Android is more customisable (and better for piracy) but IOS is arguably simpler and more reliable.

If you have no major gripes/annoyances about IOS then making the switch will probably just be spot of hassle for a similar end user experience

Androids are more durable imo, I find them a lot more forgiving when dropped compared to an IPhone, and a whole lot less expensive

Android for sure. Switched from Ios a long time ago, definitely worth it

The quality of apples is really good
