I'm torn on going out to movies, even before the pandemic. Movies are hella expensive, especially if you buy drinks/snacks at the theater instead of sneaking them in. I might still go on special occasions or for movies I have a very high interest in, but otherwise I'll probably just buy the dvd or stream them at home.
