I heard some rumors that the new 30 series cards are going to be artificially scarce so that when it sells out too fast nVidia can jack up the prices permanently for all future cards, anybody know anything about this?

Wouldn't be surprising considering how this launch went. So many people who didn't get a card because all the bots got them first and every store immediately running out of stock in seconds. They either had like 10 cards each or none to begin with.
