It's not a new tactic, but one that's making rounds again. Anyone discord pming you to look at a google doc (or any link) may be attempting to hijack your machine/discord. All that's needed for this is for you to click this link. Once clicked they'll scrape the discord session data and see if they can pm others using your account. Just because you know an account doesn't guarantee their random links they send you are safe.

obviously this is a higher risk on file hosting site links, but be smart about any random links that get sent to you. especially if it has text like "hey I have a computer course where they tell us to make a project could you look this over for me?"
