not gonna lie sicario 1 , 2 have had a fucking story and action behind it the film is based on cracking down on a cartel in mexico to stop drugs from entering the USA and im not going to spoil everything but some bodies are found at the start and that is the working of cartel in a wall , it's quite desturbing .

hopefully the film comes out in 2020

Idk if I understand this correctly, but I might be wrong considering that I never fully watched the second film: the movies aren’t a continuation of the same story right? Because there was a YT video I came across that said that the director intended to film different variations of the main story plot- Alejandro (with crew) VS Cartel, just with different circumstances or scenarios. Loved the action too tho!
