There will be blood is a movie released in 2007 and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.

This movie is one of my favorites and it´s seems that many people never heard about it.

The plot is about a man looking for oil in texas, and when he find it we can see how the power/money that oil brings make him mad and ambicious.
This film is a clear masterpiece showing how the human being is corrupted in the search for power and money. What´s more, the director moves away from making a movie suitable for everyone with the aim of showing us a raw and realistic story.

I keep the average of 1 movie per year for a long while now so There Will Be Blood has been in my bookmarks for almost 10 years.

I think that Daniel Day-Lewis is one of the best actors out there, so I quite enjoyed this film even with the long running time of three hours. I would recommend this to rent or buy.
