thoughts on korean drama/movies
#1
we can clearly see korean dramas and movies are gaining more and more popularity, like crash landing on you, start up, goblin, the king eternal monarch, train to busan  etc

Most of the time in Netflix the top 10 has at least two korean drama. Seems like people are starting to like kdramas more

Any thought on korean dramas taking over most western shows nowadays???

I have seen a bunch of Korean horror movies and series. I crave that stuff lately. Best thing about their horror stuff: They use loooaads of blood.

Detached arm? No problem.
Head exploading? No problem.

"Alice in Borderland" and "Sweet Home" are by far my most favorite series. "Kingdom" as well.

Korean cinema is getting more popular, in my opinion, because Hollywood gets worse and worse year by year. They are way too greedy, the whole superhero saga shows that just boring, bland movies purely made to make money

Korean movies are still very raw in that sense, at least the best ones, the ones that get traction in the West. You can tell the amount of thought and effort that was put into those movies

Parasite is a fantastic film

#9
Korean thriller/horror movies are among the best I've seen
