I guess that it makes sense for people to get a good reputation for contributing to the social aspect of the site without just appearing and spamming to make credits in the leaks section and then leaving.

nothing confusing really, posting in the leaked segments minuses your contribution level. A post itself earns 1 credit. This is what I see so I guess this is how it works
