Loki Episode 4
#1
Thoughts on the new episode? A lot happened and the ending has me pretty interested in what’s gonna happen in the next one

I didn't feel like it was an amazing episode, it was just okay.

Yeah it's weird how these marvel direct-to-tv series feel so much like tv shows (in a bad way), even though they look absolutely beautiful. Same with Falcon and Winter Soldier. A lot of pointless meandering to fill out 6 episodes Angry

Everyone's spazzing out on these episodes, and I'm just here not that engaged. Look, BB, and Mr. Robot were great, these shows, while they're fun, are not great.

It's filler. I don't understand why people don't seem to realize this, but it's not normal for studios to SCHEDULE their "CONTENT" years in advance. This has been in the MCU schedule for years which is a very clear indicator that these shows are filler content, not the end result of skilled storytellers putting together a meaningful story.

As "thundereder9t8y" said "these shows, while they're fun, are not great".

Older TV used to have similarly disposable shows, but they never pretended to be anything more than that, nor did they blow so much money on an inflated budget. When you watched "Three's Company" back in the 70s, you knew it was a crappy TV show meant for quick entertainment, and so did the show, and it was one of many just like it.

Loki, as ALL of streaming, is wannabe-prestige content.

Story is going interesting, sylvie character is good, but imho loki is being overhyped
