I was there in the beginning of this whole Ruben story. I remember when he first posted the first set on 4chan, it was Athena, and he posted them because he was drunk. 4chan being what it is, he posted more and more, eventually releasing 3 videos of Athena. Because on the skype calls he showed the screen of some his twitter and facebook accounts he was doxxed like 2 days later, full name, place where he lived, and even his youtube account. It's actually a surprise that it took police that long to go after him. If they had acted sooner he wouldn't have released more videos of the other girls he had/was blackmailing. After about a month of releasing more Athena and a couple of other girls on 4chan he moved to leakedsluts, which was the predecessor to hlb but with a really active forum and a private chat function. There he began selling his blackmail material to people with bitcoin. In all he had over 70 sets of girls with video blackmail calls , and over a hundred girls with just pictures. He operated his cp porn shop for about 4 months before leakedsluts shutdown, and for a few weeks he continued to sell his stuff through protonmail. How it took cops so long to get him baffles me, like I said he was doxxed 2 days after sharing his first blackmail video. I remember sending the fbi his posts and private chats I had with him about him selling cp but because I did it anonymously I guess they didn't care or maybe they're just inundated with cp reports. As far as I know some of his girls reported him to authorities as far back as 2016, at least that's what he told me. Maybe that's why he felt invincible and thought he would never get caught.
