In my experience if you want a job really fast you have to be fullstack, basically just learn Rest APIs and whatever javascript based framework you like of the main three as of now (ReactJS, AngularJS, VueJS) for frontend, but I think with just frontend you will do good, I mean its like every company is desperate for developers (at least where I live).

React.js, it is the most popular and you will find the most support using it (tutorials, stackoverflow questions etc)
